I LOOOOVE that cap of Arthur just before what you said about Arthur realising how awful his father is. I ADORE it. It is BRILLIANT. Also I agree about Arthur slowly realising that his Father doesn't deserve the pedestal that Arthur's always seen him on. I remember a review of an ep in S1 (1x12, maybe?) after Arthur releases Morgana from the dungeons and she says "You're a much better man than your father. Always were." The reviewer described Arthur as 'looking uncomfortably aware of the fact.' Which I think is dead-on accurate.
Colin Morgan seriously has the shiniest eyes in the world.
